IMPROVING PARENTAL EDUCATIONAL COMPETENCE IN CAREER GUIDANCE FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS WITH HEARING IMPAIRMENTS

Introduction. The paper highlights the issues of improvement in educational competence parents hearing impaired children terms family considered as a system-forming determinant socio-cultural status child, which predetermines their further psychophysical and social development, professional self-determination given special needs. Materials methods. study relies on analytical methods (exploration analysis psychological pedagogical scientific methodological literature problem research, experience), diagnostic (questionnaires, documents, conversations), statistical (quantitative qualitative results obtained processing experimental data). study. has identified difficulties encountered by high school students when discussing one most serious teenager’s life, i.e., choice specialty future profession. stages work with have been developed to improve impairments; criteria indicators parental readiness for career guidance identified.
